Accessibility Statement

This is Skin 1.0
Last updated: August 7, 2025

Skinwear is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We are continually working to improve the accessibility and usability of our website, This is Skin 1.0, and we strive to comply with internationally recognized accessibility standards and legal requirements.

We understand that accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time achievement. Our goal is to ensure that every visitor, regardless of ability, can engage with our brand, products, and services in a fully inclusive and user-friendly way.

Our Accessibility Commitment

Skinwear is committed to meeting or exceeding the requirements of the following laws and accessibility standards:

✅ Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

We aim to provide equal access to users in the United States by aligning with the ADA’s principles of non-discrimination and equal opportunity. Although the ADA does not specify technical guidelines, we adhere to the globally recognized Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as the baseline for compliance.

✅ Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)

For our users in Canada, particularly in Ontario, we follow the requirements of the AODA. This includes aligning our public-facing website content and functionality with WCAG 2.0 Level AA, as mandated by the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR).

✅ European Union Web Accessibility Directive

While primarily applicable to public sector organizations, Skinwear voluntarily aligns with the EU Web Accessibility Directive to provide accessible digital services to users across the European Union. We meet or exceed the technical requirements of WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we provide this Accessibility Statement and a feedback mechanism in accordance with Directive guidelines.

✅ Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA

WCAG 2.1 Level AA is our primary technical standard. Developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), WCAG provides a global benchmark for ensuring digital content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users, including those using assistive technologies.
